- Open the list options and choose “Leave list”.
- Read the confirmation message before continuing.
Good to know
Leaving a shared list and deleting a list are different actions.
Deleting a list
- Use Delete when the list itself should be removed.
- Open the list options and choose the delete action.
- Read the warning carefully, especially if other people use the list.
- Confirm only when you are sure the list should be deleted.
Difference between leaving and deleting
Leaving removes you from a shared list while allowing the list to continue for the remaining members when supported.
Deleting removes the list itself.
Use the action that matches what you actually want to happen.
