Your display name

Your display name is the name Smart Lists uses to identify you.

It can appear inside shared lists where members need to know who is involved.

Changing your display name

1. Open the profile or name setting.
2. Enter the new display name.
3. Save the change.

Where your display name appears

Your name can appear in member lists and in shared list features that need to identify a member.

“Track Who Paid” can also use member names when selecting the payer.

How your name appears in shared lists

Other members can see the display name Smart Lists uses for you inside that shared list.

Choose a name people will recognise.

Privacy of your profile information

Your display name is used for shared identification.

Private information such as your “Personal Balance” is not exposed simply because your name appears in a shared list.
