Smart Lists Guide

Before Uninstalling

Uninstalling removes the Smart Lists app from your phone. Before doing that, review anything you may still need access to.

What to check before uninstalling

Open Home and review your lists.

Check whether you belong to shared lists that you may need again.

Review “Personal Balance” if you rely on it.

Make sure you understand the difference between uninstalling and deleting your data.

Shared lists you belong to

Uninstalling the app is not the same as intentionally leaving each shared list.

If you plan to stop using a shared list, leave it properly before uninstalling.

Lists you own

Check lists that other people still use.

Do not delete a shared list merely because you are uninstalling the app unless you intend to remove the list for everyone.

Personal Balance before uninstalling

Review the current “Personal Balance” if the amount is important to you.

Do not assume uninstalling is the same as resetting or deleting that balance.

Outstanding invitations

If you have recently sent invitations, remember that other people may still be using or joining those lists.

Important list information

Review any list information you may need before removing the app from the phone.

Whether uninstalling deletes your Smart Lists data

Uninstalling the Android app and deleting your Smart Lists data are separate actions.

Use Account Deletion when your intention is to remove your data rather than only remove the app from the device.
