Live Updates and Shared Changes
Shared lists are designed so members work from the same list. Changes made by one member can appear for the other members of that list.
Seeing changes made by another member
Open the shared list.
Changes made by another member can appear in the same list without you creating a separate copy.
What happens if another member edits an item
The shared item changes for members of that list.
Open the item if you need to review the updated name or purchase information.
What happens if another member deletes an item
The item is removed from the shared list.
Because everyone uses the same list, the deletion is not limited to only the member who performed it.
What happens if a list is deleted while open
If the shared list itself is deleted, Smart Lists can no longer continue showing it as an active list.
Return to Home if the list becomes unavailable.
Refreshing list information
- If you think a shared change has not appeared yet, leave the list screen and reopen it.
- Also check that the device has an internet connection.
