Smart Lists Guide

Members and Member Counts

Every list has a member count. Shared lists can contain several members, while a list you use alone may only contain you.

Understanding the member icon

On a list tile on Home, look for the member icon.

This icon represents the people who belong to that specific list.

Understanding the number next to the member icon

The number beside the member icon shows how many members are currently in that list.

For example, if the icon shows 2, there are two members in that list.

The count belongs only to that list, so another list can show a different number.

Viewing members in a list

  1. Open the list you want to check.
  2. Tap the three dots in the top right corner.
  3. Select “Members”.
  4. Smart Lists shows the people who currently belong to that specific list.

Where to find Members in the three dot menu

The “Members” option is inside the list menu.

To reach it, open the list first, then tap the three dots in the top right corner.

Choose “Members” from the menu.

Understanding who belongs to a specific list

Member lists are separate for each Smart Lists list.

Someone can belong to one of your shared lists without belonging to your other lists.

Always open the specific list and choose “Members” when you want to check who has access.

What happens to the member count when someone joins or leaves

When a new person joins, the member count increases.

When a member leaves or is no longer part of the list, the member count decreases.

Use the “Members” screen when you need to see the actual names rather than only the number.
